  • We have three sizes of kennels to meet the needs of the dogs. All the kennels are large enough for your dog to have a comfortable stay and we try to get them outside as much as possible. With that said, kennel size is based on the dog or dogs going into them. All large breed dogs would be given priority to the larger kennels. Likewise, two or three dogs coming together in the same kennel would get priority of the larger kennels.

  • Our kennels are designed to make all dogs feel safe and comfortable while they are here. To help with this, we have four separate areas within the kennels that we can put like dogs grouped together but in their own kennel. For example, small breeds might be in one room (separate kennels), large barkers in another room (separate kennels), and elderly and quiet gentle dogs in a third room (separate kennels). We will move dogs if needed to make sure they all feel as comfortable as possible. Dogs will never be in the same kennel or dog run for their own safety.

  • We want to make sure your dog has every opportunity for restroom breaks and exercise. This is why we make sure your dog goes outside a minimum of five times per day. We also have an extra nature walk that you can add to your dog’s week when you sign-up for your reservation.

  • We will do everything we can to make sure your dog gets their medications. Our regular routine will be to give your dog their medications during mealtimes. We know this isn’t always possible and will do our best to work with you.

  • Yes! The temperature is controlled to provide the most comfortable atmosphere as possible for your dog. We do have some 70-degree days where it’s nice to open all the doors for a cool breeze. The temperature will be gauged on what we would enjoy, knowing that your dog would enjoy similar indoor temperatures.

  • For the safety of all dogs, we do require vaccines. Each dog must have their vaccines 14 days prior to their stay. We realize that some places may have different requirements but these are what make us feel most confident in maintaining a safe environment. All dogs are required to have the following vaccines: Rabies, Canine Influenza, Bordetella, and DHPP.

  • To ensure staff is available and keep visitors to a minimum, we do have designated pick-up times. Visitors do disrupt the dogs and can create a stressful environment. You can request a time outside of these hours for a minimal fee. We know designated times for any situation can be an inconvenience, but we do ask that you do your best to make arrangements for pick-up during the designated time. The time to pick-up your dog will be Monday through Saturday morning from 8am until 10am. Thanks for helping keep our kennels as stress free as possible by sticking to the pick-up hours!

  • Drop-off is just like pick-up but with a different time… To ensure staff is available and keep visitors to a minimum, we do have designated drop-off times. Visitors do disrupt the dogs and can create a stressful environment. You can request a time outside of these hours for a minimal fee. We know designated times for any situation can be an inconvenience, but we do ask that you do your best to make arrangements for drop-off during the designated time. The time to drop-off your dog will be Monday through Saturday evening from 3pm until 5pm. Thanks for helping keep our kennels as stress free as possible by sticking to the drop-off hours!

  • To help your dog enjoy their stay, things from home are always a nice touch! Here are some items that are required and some just for the enjoyment of your dog:

Must haves items: enough dog food for your dog’s entire stay and any vet prescribed medications.

Extra items that you are welcome to bring include beds, blankets, towels, toys, Nylabone, and belly bands. We ask that you do not bring real bones, rawhides, or stuffing filled toys and blankets. If you have items off this list that you feel would make your dog’s stay more enjoyable, please feel free to check with us or bring them to discuss when dropping off your dog.

  • Don’t worry, we would never let a dog go hungry. We will feed your dog a proper balanced dry dog food until you return. There will be a $2.50 charge for each meal.

  • Yes! Pee pads and belly bands are great for dogs if you feel they would have trouble holding their pee until the next morning, especially for puppies and elderly dogs. Please understand that while you are welcome to bring these items, there will be a $5 per day charge for the management and cleaning that comes with this added responsibility.

  • Yes, your dog’s safety is a priority to us! We are able to monitor the kennels and yards at all times to keep an eye on all dogs.

  • We know that there are many dogs who would love to play with others, but we can’t ensure your dog’s safety if we combine dogs. Since this is a boarding environment and not a doggy daycare, we must insist that dogs are kept separate. If you bring multiple dogs, they will be allowed to be with each other as much as possible. Your dog will be kenneled beside other dogs and be able to see others while out enjoying yard time. This alone makes them happy to see others around them. Being kept separate usually makes dogs feel safe and unthreatened, especially if timid. Once that rapport is built your dog will usually start enjoying their stay a whole lot more!

  • The short answer is yes, as long as they have all required shots. Everyone loves puppies including us! They do require a bit more work and frequent breaks. To help meet your puppies needs, there could be a minimal fee for extra time spent on those one-on-one needs that all puppies require.

  • It is a pleasure to have opportunities to meet and play with all of your great dogs! We appreciate your business and look forward to many more vacations with your dog. You are able to pay us through the Kennel Booker App, cash, or Venmo which is due during drop-off. We do our best to not add any unnecessary fees to any dog’s week, but if that happens, payment will be due at pick-up.

  • Fees are rare unless you know about them upfront. No one likes a hidden fee, and most dogs don’t require any additional services. The fee’s you know about upfront would be for requesting a different drop-off or pick-up time or adding a nature walk with one-on-one time to your dog’s reservation. You will also know if your dog’s medication requirements or special needs are more extreme, and an additional staff fee is required.

The only fee’s your dog can get while in our care are: 1) If your dog shows up with fleas, ticks, or a strong odor. They will be given the appropriate bath with a $20 fee. 2) There will be a fee for extreme indoor pee/pooping in the kennels. We understand that dogs may use the bathroom inside from time-to-time and there is no charge for that. However, if your dog is using the bathroom inside every day, we do need to charge for the extra supplies needed to take care of those situations. 3) If your dog runs out of dog food, there will be a charge of $2.50 per meal.

We keep nightly costs down by only charging fees to those that need them. Again, most dogs don’t get extra fees, but they are in place for those situations that call for them.

  • Unexpected things happen and we are fully prepared to take care of emergency situations. We will do everything possible to keep your pet safe and healthy while you're gone. In the rare case an emergency comes up, we will first make three attempts to call you. If we are unable to reach you, we will call your emergency contact. If we are unable to reach them, we will call your vet. If none of these people are reachable, we will call our vet to handle the emergency. The pet owner will be responsible for bills acquired during this situation. Again, this would be a rare, extreme event but we will care for your dog just like we would want ours to be cared for.
